Found this game via Modern Vintage Gamer's video about him finishing the Xbox port. Wanted to show my support to the developer. Played a bit... Man, the controls are a bit wonky and will take some getting used to. Seems pretty fun, though. I was playing with Mouse & Keyboard. Even though it's an TPS/FPS, I wonder if maybe it would control better on a controller. I'll have to try that in the future. I went in...

It's hard to believe that this is a real video game. It reminds me of those fake video games you sometimes see on TV, with art and mechanics that make no logical sense. And yet Freefall 3050AD exists, and might just be the most year 2000 video game ever made. It's garish and ridiculous, with bright science fiction visuals, inconsistent fonts, thumping techno, a gigantic UI, and poor tutorials. And you know what?...

Thanks for letting Modern Vintage Gamer finish the OG Xbox version. PC version doesn't work that well for me with Proton & Linux. But that's fine I guess, thanks to the Xbox port I can still play it ;-)

Found out about this game after the Nuon system was talked about by Rerez in 2015 I believe. Then MVG was talking about and the unreleased port along with a port to the PC being brought to Steam, and bringing it back to my attention after all these years. I'm shocked that a plan for a release on the Xbox was a thing! For the game and what its worth its not bad, but the controls are wonky but can get use to them...

Just wanted to say thanks for MVG for finishing the Xbox port and to thank Tony as well for giving him the source code to do it. You will need to get used to the controls but its pretty fun overall. Without MVG this game would've have had the attention it deserves. Well done mate.

It's not worth anyone's time. Got it cuz MVG made it sound interesting. Yea, it's an interesting port I guess, but very bare. 2 resolution options, both locked in as fullscreen and no windowed option. For the longest time, my anti-mal software flagged it as suspicious exe. The controls are functional but gameplay just feels weird. Hitting most targets is a pain, and using special abilities requires pressing 2...

I originally found out about this game from Rerez's video about the Nuon, which got me wanting to play the game, but I didn't want to find a super obscure console and also find a probably even more rare game to play it. I had completely forgotten about it until Modern Vintage Gamer's video about finishing the unreleased Xbox port. In that video he mentioned a Steam version of the game which I had never known existed...

There is a big event signaling the end of the game, but this takes hours and hours of play to reach. And, even if you finish this, you can play through the game again, maybe on a different side of the screen.
