What we store

GameSelector has no accounts. What you tell us is saved in two cookies in your own browser: profile (your processor, graphics card, memory, favourite games and, if you link it, your Steam ID) and wishlist (the games on your wishlist). They are only used to personalise the site for you, and last for a year.

Steam login

If you choose “Log in with Steam”, you sign in on Steam's own website. We never see your password. Steam tells us your public Steam ID, which we use to read your public list of games so we can hide games you own and learn what you play. Unlink it any time on your Profile.

Where the game data comes from

Game details, reviews and prices come from Steam, SteamSpy, CheapShark and IsThereAnyDeal. Your country (from your internet connection) is used only to show Steam prices in your currency. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes requests to deliver it.

Deleting your data

Open your Profile and click Delete my data, or clear this site's cookies in your browser.
