An atmospheric, claustrophobic exploration of a typical post-Soviet neighborhood in the winter. The experience includes architecture, limited scenery, and a handful of environmental interactions. IT'S WINTER is short, but enthralling. Through only environmental storytelling and a few apartment rooms of interesting interactivity, the game captures its intended atmosphere in a bottle, even if the bottle is rather small. An embrace of gorgeous melancholy, felt in the bones like the chill of the cold. This is a beautiful little game.
