The DOS version is now included for the Steam version of Blood. This is provided as a launch option as "Launch DOS" Blood One Unit Whole" and you can find the game files under the /DOS sub folder. The DOS version is provided with limited support, but should otherwise be fully functional. Features such as multiplayer for the original DOS version will need an understanding of how to configure DOSBOX under the hood.

Since the game is delisted probably no one will saw the review and a new version is out so I will keep it short. Was it good? Yes. Very good? No. Is the game hard? Yes, BS hard? Yes on 4th+ difficulty enemies can deal 50hp in a span of 1 second. If you are a fan of old boomer shooters or boomer shooters in general buy the new version so you will not have a seizure but on sale since it’s 30$. 7/10

Blood (1997) has a memorable atmosphere and incredibly satisfying weapons. The strange and spooky language spoken by the cultists is unforgettable and is apparently a derivative mixture of Latin, French and Sanskrit. Blood might just be the best Build engine game developed in the 90s. "I'm here to donate some blood. Someone else's..."

A game that will absolutely ♥♥♥♥ in your shoes with its difficulty, but will also provide you with some of the most adrenaline fueled fun you will ever have in a videogame. always remember that dynamite around corners is your friend.

One of my favorite shooters from the time period. Main game is very good; the levels are mostly interesting and easy to navigate with a few exceptions. Where my enjoyment of this game really peaked was the fan expansion "death wish".
