Great short game to get lost in for a few hours, took me 7 hours to get every achievement as well as doing some exploring. Really enjoyed it. And that's one more game from my backlog finished.

Really good game to distract yourself not only from real life, but also from your main objective: reaching the summit of Hawk Peak. Every time i made a little progress on my climb, there was always some side activity to do or help an NPC in need lmao, loved it. Not to mention the really good ost, game's a banger!!

Short cozy game! It's beautiful and it feels great to control. There are many ways to get to the end goal and you can complete as much of the game as you'd like (there is a good amount of extra content)!

A SHORT HIKE, is an exploration focused game about discovering yourself and the work at your own pace. You are given a start and end goal but no in between. Through your hike up the mountain you will meet many many cute characters with their own cute conversations to have. The whole map is set around an island nature part that is stuck in a beautiful shade of Autumn. Along the way, you will find many side activities...

It's the perfect game to gift someone you are not entirely sure what to get for. The price is super reasonable, the game can be short enough to not be a big commitment (you can get through it in an hour if head straight for the summit), or quite long if you enjoy exploring and flying around (easily 6 hours and more), it runs on potato PCs (incl. Linux!!), is very relaxing, easy enough that my mom could probably beat...

Ever since I played this game I fell in love with it's art style and soundtrack. I have been replaying the games soundtrack nonstop and every time I hear the soundtrack I just go back to a memory of me sitting in the boat in A Short Hike and just fishing. I may go back to the game and get every achievement, but to also relax and admire the art style of this game.
