Nothing is going to beat this game in terms of combination of realism , tactics, strategy, modding capabilities any time soon. Maybe one day only arma 4 will be able to beat it. Nothing really comes close. Awesome sandbox game with ways to play for lower end PCs as well. You aren't going to be able to do some mods, host multiplayer, or possibly even play multiplayer, but singleplayer has a ton to offer with dynamic missions offering endless replayability.

Pretty janky, very difficult, and your AI squadmates are absolute bellends. But extremely fun once you get the basic hang of things (not gonna act like I'm actually proficient though, there's a lot of stuff to learn). For a solo player like myself, the main popular scenarios like Liberation and Antistasi are too big to take on alone, unless you're willing to REALLY commit, but other scenarios like Dynamic Recon Ops...

One of the best military sandbox games I've played. The amount of freedom, mods and different scenarios is ridiculous. You can spend hours doing serious military stuff or end up in the most random situation imaginable. 269 hours well spent.
