Despite me giving it a no, it's not a bad game, just doesn't pack enough value for it's price. Standard tactical combat with nothing to write home about. Not on the easy side but nothing too challenging either. Completed no damage run first try in about 7.5 hours. Apparently missed 3 plot achievements, but with such an uninspiring story, I have no motivation in going back and completing them. Maybe worth a pick up...

I'd preface by saying this isn't a bad game but i wouldn't recommend it. First of all, I wouldn't describe Wanna Survive as a tactics game but more akin to 'strategy' like Chess or Go. There's little room for error and some of the maps spam you with enemies to the point where you have one or two choices out of a dozen that might lead to arbitrary failure after a couple of turns because one character is out of...

Game has an incredibly high difficulty curve on "normal" difficulty. It feels more like a puzzle game than a tactics game with how exact/perfect you have to make your moves. On later missions, it feels like there's no room for error, and that you *have* to use a certain tactic (i.e. barricade yourself and wait for the zombies to come to you) in order to keep everybody alive. With the gradual introduction as the stages go on of new characters with abilities, there is always something new to learn in order to make the dynamic of the group work better in fights. A really wonderful little game. Its rare that a developer will be so uncompromising in the execution of a great design. I've played 1 hour and everyone is hungry. This game is more like a puzzle game than strategy game. There is very little tolerance to failure and therefore not as much choices to have.
