I liked Death Rally back in the day, but this remake just didn’t feel the same. It’s not horrible, and if you want a little cheap nostalgia you might have some fun with it, but it didn’t really feel the original did.

5 out of 87 of the achievements are impossible to get unless you completely dedicate your time into repetitively playing the same races over and over again after the main game is complete. Those who knows, knows. Anyways, used hacky ways to get those achievements cause I can't be bothered. Other than that, it's a fun game. Short races, fun and consistent progression. Story can be completed in 4-5 hours, whole game...

NOT RECOMMENDED, NOT EVEN FOR FREE - everything is worse than in the free Death Rally Classic and the controls are so horrendous as the mobile port turning the car is like that of a SHIP and it is utterly uncontrollable. Your turning will never be accurate and there is no getting used to uncontrollable controls like that. Besides the enjoyment-destroying turning controls, the game is super-padded with dull grinding...

Remake of the cult classic! Achievements are unobtainable grindy, but game is nice for top-down car rampage.

The blueprint for the game was right there in the original, yet despite all modern games seemingly having progression systems, this remake somehow has less/worse progression than the original. It's kindof an uncanny valley situation, where it's so much like the original but just kind of off. It's not outright bad, but it just feels a bit flat. Looks fine if pretty generic, controls ok though I used keyboard controls...

This is a poor remake of the original 1996 Death Rally, but on itself it's a nice arcade game for about 10-15 hours of gameplay. Replayed it twice, had fun both times.

It's Death Rally with different graphics. The changes they made are mostly on the upgrading and unlocking part. Gameplay is same as in original DR, this includes the bad as well. Meaning the AI still cheats. You won't be driving alone ever as the AI driver will simply speed up to catch up to you if you are lonely. At the time of writing I haven't beaten the "Advesary" aka final boss because its pretty frustrating...
