In-Development Version of Gensokyo Night Festival Now Available in Private Beta
2023-10-25Dear all, As previously announced, we have uploaded an in-development version of Gensokyo Night Festival to the "beta" branch as a private beta. ※※Important!※※ When we moved the project to the newest version of Unreal Engine, major bugs were created not just in the new Stage 3, but also in the previously completed and released Stages 1 and 2. Please note that since this is still an in-development build, there are numerous crash bugs, other bugs of varying severity, placeholder assets, and unfinished portions still present. We are already aware of the bugs that occur in this game build, so there is no need to report any bugs you may find. The purpose of the beta is only to share with you our current development progress, nothing more.

In order to prevent the issues in this build from affecting existing save data, this in-development version will save in the game install folder instead of the save folder the current public build (updated up to Chapter 2) uses, so the game will start from the very beginning. Any existing save files will not be affected. How to get into the private beta: • Select Gensokyo Night Festival in your Steam library. • Right click on the game title on the list, or click on the gear icon on the game's page, and select "Properties...". • In "Betas", enter the following password: HLyAMRv7YvvZzkfV • Now, you can access the beta branch. Participate in the beta branch and update the game. You will see the word "beta" appear at the end of the game title. ■The entrance to the in-development Stage 3 can be found here. Please check the map. You will be able to enter Stage 3 from here after clearing Stage 2. Once again, we apologize for the extended delay between updates. Please rest assured that the game is still in development. We would also greatly appreciate it if you could leave your feedback and impressions of the beta in our Steam Community after playing.
