I was a fan of this game back in high school during its alpha release. I have mixed feelings about this version. On one hand, it's an original, vibrant world into which the creators poured a lot of love and soul. It's a technically complex software achievement with unique, dynamic gameplay. This game got quite a bit of heat on release because of differences between the Alpha version and release, but I wasn't around for any of that so I can't vouch. I will say this is a pretty fun game for what it is. I played with some mods to ease the region locking but still kept it for the most part. Would be nice if the dev didn't get witch hunted out and had the chance to keep making updates, but I'm excited to see...

My problem with this game its that its just a prettier slightly tweaked version of the alpha.. adding some things but removing others. i hope that cubeworld omega will be a case of 3rd times the charm and finally hit the nail on the head. --Here are my main critiques mainly with ideas for Omega-- My main point is to please focus most of your energy on the actual goal of the game... Game is actually so fun, gameplay loop is for sure unique but it isn't bad. Was a fan at 15 years old ( i played the alpha ) and I'm still a fan at 28 years old. KEEP GOING !!! take your time !! if it was easy everyone would do it !!! ♥♥♥♥ the haters

I remember buying this when I was a kid and finally had some money, I saw the previous gameplay geeked out and after awhile it came out being absolute buns
