Lightfish is a game that seems to be loosely based on the classic volfied. Gameplay revolves around cutting the screen which sounds and is simple in essence. It's easy to learn hard to master with the achievements being well suited and providing a challenge for replay value. I personally burned through this quite quickly but did enjoy the experience. Qix got old and settled down ages ago but when it was in a midlife crisis at one point it went out to the bar and had skeezy drunken sex with Lumines and Lightfish was the baby. This is exactly almost 100% identical to Fortix . Cut the lines on a board making sure while doing so , you are not impeded by other fishes. Just the theme is changed with fishes and all from kingdoms , and it is as short as was the fortix. But yeah, I have no complaint whatsoever. I just like such simplicity and obsolete games in this era of Ultra 3 dimensionality.

This game is pretty decent. It's essentially the arcade game Qix. If you haven't played the original, you've likely played a port or flash game clone with similar gameplay before. What differentiates this one is that is has a lot of polish, and new gameplay mechanics to keep it interesting. At the same time, I don't know if the price-point is for everybody. Very fun Quix type game. 45 levels, 3 levels of difficulty. Took about 90 min on normal. Good achievements. Time trial mode too.

A little disapointed. unfortunately some of the game mechanics are very flawed. 1st the scoring system exspects you to rush the levels and seems as if it would just reward your lucky runs. 2nd ENERMIES RESPAWN! WHY??? surely a big part of this type of game is making traps in the map to remove enemies to make the rest of the level easier to capture.
