relatively short game, very fun and it shows that the devs have made it with love and care. I didn't try them myself, but it has some speedrunning items, like a clock or something. and a leaderboard for an endless train battle. fun mystery to uncover along the way. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys top-down view puzzle action/rpg games, retro zelda-esque, or anyone who enjoys a quirky story about a turnip...

I beat this last year and instantly bought the second, which IS good, but not AS good as the experience of this was. only thing I didnt do was get all the hats.

10/10 loved it. you run around doing fetch quests and fight a boss at the end of a fetch quest line. the game is loaded with personality and an amazing soundtrack

Yeah, it's exactly what you'd expect from a game titled "Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion". The art style is adorable and the plot is delightfully absurd. Short and sweet.

this thing needs some running shoes like in pokemon a bit more content and its a strong contender to all the old zelda games (minish cap etc.)

Short and decent adventure game, with puzzles and memes. It's fairly easy to get 100% too. Overall recommend it. Only caveat is that for me on linux, the game would get to the main menu, and then none of my buttons would work. Forcing compatibility to proton 11 worked for me and I was able to play the game normally.

Fun little charming game with excellent features catered to people who just wanna blast through the game. I had a lot of fun speedrunning the achievements.

Turnip Boy is a simple game and pure fun, it's got it's little lore sprinkled in the background if you like keep track of that stuff like I do. Very short, maxing at about 2 hours to finish the main story but it's a 2 hours worth playing through. Overall 7/10 game, kinda wish it was longer is my only complaint

Short and sweet game where you are a turnip boy ripping up tax documents (and any other papers you come across). What more could you want? The gameplay is simple, you walk around with your weapon and watering can, solve little puzzles and fight enemies along the way. The lore sprinkled throughout the documents and dialogue was pretty interesting too. I like the cute artstyle and music, and i enjoyed the roguelite...
