This game really has the potential to be what it set out to do. Become a spiritual successor to Sierras Pharaoh, wich is one of my favourite games of all time. All of the idiots with less than an hour playing this game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about bugs and mechanics that aren't working yet are the reason so many people hate gamers. First, the game is in early access, not production release. Second, and most importantly, IT'S FREE! So toxic. No wonder the smaller or single dev studios are afraid to release betas or demos. Ok, Heres my review after playing nearly 3 hours of this game. Pros: -Pretty. Nice graphics that aren't too flashy but generally looks good -The buildings and models are quite nice, and upgrades look appropriate -Generally the menus are nice and clean, the loading screen does get a bit lagging during the info scroll and fade out though -River flooding is a nice mechanic, would be good to reduce production etc -Very...

It looks like Sierra's Pharaoh (with updated graphics), one of the games I have been playing and replaying for ages. Well, the demo looks like a good start. Gimme more and please don't disappoint. Those are some big shoes you're trying to fill.

This feels/looks like a promising game. If you loved Pharaoh and Cleopatra as much as I do, then this is the game for you! Plays very much like Pharaoh but graphics are much more clear.

This is an awesome game! If you loved Pharoah and Children of the Nile - this will be the better improved game over those. :) Awesome community too. Developer takes requests and plays the game himself. Even better he's not taking this Epic exclusive (woot, woot). This will be the new city-builder of ancient Egyptian life that you've long waited for. So many new and great features await in a stunning 3D environment...

Mildly recommended for city builder fans. As a fan of Children of the Nile and city builders in general, I was glad to see that this has most of the core requirements covered. The tutorial however is extremely lacking and some of the mechanics can corner you if you fill your stockpile and granary with goods the merchant doesn't want to purchase. It should be made clear that you cannot (in the early stages at least)...

The historical city building sim games had been long forgotten . Almost 20 years and no games can offer unique experiences like Caesar 3 , Zeus, Pharaoh or Rise of Middle Kingdom . Their closest descendants were Children of Nile and Caesar 4 yet these games didn't get much attention when they released. Builders of Egypt, a game was suggested on my Steam games list got my attention and I decided to give it a try....

Amazing. A moderately interesting city builder with beautiful graphics. World map is not finished but it has potential. I hate it that people provide a bad review due to bugs. It is in Early Access aka NOT THE FINAL VERSION.

Been waiting for a modern city builder similar to the old Impressions Games and this is it. If you enjoyed games like Caesar III, Pharaoh + Cleopatra, Zeus + Poseidon then keep an eye on this. It's still in development but I am excited to see where it goes.
