The game is good, EA is trash. You have to install and run EA's app in the background to play the game, that also tracks your location. The game also starts glitching in the second half. Your key bindings will randomly stop working, you randomly can't control your party, the sound randomly cuts off and sometimes it will just crash completely. EA already destroyed Bioware, they can't even maintain whatever good work...

Forces you to link an EA account to even play the game. So if you don't have one and/or don't want to give EA your information for them to sell then you are out of luck. F U C K O F F

Sadly like it's predecessor it continued the dumbing down of the gameplay and its trajectory to what would later become the death of the franchise. Putting that aside though, you have a game with a wealth of content, big worlds to check out, interesting choices to make, a great art style, a roster of interesting characters (some way more than others) and a good enough combat system. 40 bucks for a game from well...

Worth it, despite its poorly optimized state; I quit my original run back in 2015 due to a save-corrupting bug which is still present (but by-passable with mods now). Do NOT bother with the side quests. Just focus on the main quests, relevant character story quests. don't full clear maps unless you're insane like me. you will triple your gametime.
