STAR WARS™: Squadrons

Played this gam on the xbox and i loved it. On pc is a whole different story. This game is a nightmare on pc. The camera can't focus or sit still, there is apparently no third person (at least starting), and It is borderline impossible to play. Other starships during the first mission are like ants that are impossible to hit because turning your aim is like jerking a horse by the reigns and firing guns feels like...

Super frustrating. You have to type a verification code for 2FA everytime you start and even that eventually stopped working and the game wouldn't load. Spent way too much time trying to figure out what was wrong. I eventually uninstalled it and took the loss. There are many other games out there that provide enjoyment, this is not worth the hassle.

I hesitantly recommend. If there were a 'meh' option I would have picked it. It is fun, and the ship mechanics are simple and effective. (although not original) its like a simplified version of FreeSpace. This game has huge potential, but falls short. Things that should be 3D POV is instead a floating screen. There are no touch controls at all. The thing that pisses me off is how under-scaled everything...

Great game, the story is about 6-8 hours depending how fast you are, once you are in story mode you follow that, you can't do anything, don't even have time to appreciate how beautiful the graphics and visuals are and they are indeed magnificent ! The textures and lighting is second to none, the game looks phenomenal ! So pretty, if you want to appreciate the stages/levels just go on practice mode and fly around...

I played this game wishing there were B-Wing but once they added them i havn't touched the game since. Not sure what the state of online play is, but the campaign was enjoyable.

Do I like the game? Yes. Do I recommend you get it? No. Why? Well unless you're like me and love the fighter aspect of Star Wars, then the game is perfect for you.
