FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage Collector's Edition

Before collector's edition update by zoom platform, game played fine, now my engine is a lot quieter than other cars, weird top/left edge pixel-thin stripes, constant crashes after 2-4 races and unable to open browser in the steam overlay. Previous version straight up refuses to open, game's now broken, gg.

FlatOut is still probably the game that perfectly captures the stereotypical early 2000s arcade racing games. It starts out like it's a really fun game. But the more you play, the more you'll realize how broken the game is. Evening events where you have a hard time seeing the track because the lack of decent lighting (and no headlights on the car?!?!...what the hell idiot thinks this is a good idea?), the physics are bad.
