This game is not meant to be a long story, no. It's meant to be an adventure! AHOY YOUR ON THE PEREMESHNIK! Different outcomes are gonna be in this game. Me and my brother played it together (solo). But we enjoyed this game even though it only took an hour we enjoyed it so much! Quite funny too.

It's a good, free, short text-based adventure that will take >30 minutes to complete every path. You are a crewmember among the Soviet ship Peresmeshnik in the Arctic Ocean. Crew members begin to disappear and it is your choice on how to escape the creeping terror now aboard the ship. Weird fiction fans will notice the influence of "The Thing" film. Recommended.

This is a free game. It lasts around ten minutes, has achievements and will be particularly entertaining for those who enjoy science fiction, horror or mystery tales. The Peresmeshnik is a super cool and really short game about a monster that can transform into human beings and mimic those humans and its trying to kill everyone on board the "Peresmeshnik" its a Soviet ship and you are a scientist in that ship trying to escape from the monster not knowing who it is not knowing where it is and what it is doing the only escape is a life boat will you take your chance and run for it ?...

I'm going to be very honest with you. I played this game for the first time in 2021 and since then it has been stuck in my head. Most notably I developed a bizarre fixation on the character Oborev. Hmm...Not sure I have a clever header for this one. The Peresmeshnik is an interactive story that will only take a few moments of your time and reward you for your time with a well-written story that paints an interesting picture during its narrative. It's a horror-style story that holds no visuals and instead paints the visuals in your mind with its writing and nothing more. The mood is set by some eerie music...

Let your imagination run wild with this story game! Its a quick play through with a well thought out story ark. Its taught me to trust again! Playing The Peresmeshnik for the first time brought back memories of my survival days in Rust and Ark where I developed PTSD and an excessive amount of paranoia. For a free game, fine. I would not pay a dollar for it, though; three endings and a field of fog, nothing more. Written as though the characters are all struggling to speak English despite presumably taking place in Russian. Dialogue is more frustrating than the storyline is worth. The Thing, but on a boat. That's it.
