I wish they'd make shooters like this now of days. Where your not the second coming of Jesus Mowing down 500 guys as you run through a room. This one makes you more slowly approach and methodically take out enemies as you make your way through a really cool setting. Story is really non-existent, but the gameplay and setting carry it.

this is one of those games thats one leg firmly in console trash territory while dragging the decorated corpse of rainbow behind it. points for not being afraid to do stupid third person cover mechanics trying to be 2004 as hard as possible, seriously kudos. it sucked then and maybe its aged kind of ok because its an abandoned mechanic. honestly I mostly forgot to use it except to try and cheese to brutal difficulty....

Classic game, used to play with my dad when I was a kid and when I saw it was on sale here I just had to purchase it to try it again. I love the simpleness of the gameplay and the range of areas that you get to traverse while in combat. I also have fun testing my skill in the terrorist hunt maps, although I do wish there were a global server option because I don't think many people actively play this game anymore,...

The strategy parts of this game are extremely shallow. Pretty near every room in the game comes down to the same loop. Choose which of 2-3 doors you and your team are going to enter from. Do the initial entry tactic, fight 12-24 guys in an all out assault. If a room only has 12 guys, expect more to drop in from the ceiling all around you so that you die and have to go back and account for the surprise assault...

Hey kiddo, Handsome Jack here... and I just played Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas, and apparently somebody decided that the best way to solve a terrorist crisis was to send a handful of heavily armed professionals into Las Vegas and let them ruin everyone's evening. Honestly? Excellent security policy. You're part of Rainbow, you're dropped into Vegas, and suddenly the city is crawling with terrorists. Your job...
