Feeling a bit nostalgic I thought it was finally time to play the Terminal Cut release of Bloodrayne. A game I hold fond memories of and only encouraged my affinity towards vampires and vampire culture of the early ‘90s and early 2000s. game runs like ♥♥♥♥, the framerate constantly drops. Can't believe it doesn't ♥♥♥♥♥♥ work out the box, what a clown car fiesta.

Something I commonly hear floating around in the BloodRayne community is to engage only if you're willing to become a fan. This notion mainly applies to the second game, as many parts of it aren't pleasing to them as this game, but I'd like to comment on the first game myself. I like the idea of a vampiress protagonist. Lots of things about the game I hadn't even noticed until looking into individual overviews of it...

Very memorable game. The gameplay and animations are a bit stiff by todays standards, though. I wish this were remade with Stellar Blade level combat and visuals. Not sure if I would recommend someone to get into the series nowadays, but if you're open for a really stylish, sexy Vampire Hack 'n Slay this game delivers. Just expect rather clunky controls.

Playing this game again to officially beat the game and for what its worth, its worth the money. Old Nazi killing nostalgia just like return to castle wolfenstein type vibes. fun to blow through folr achievements if your looking for some easy score.

This game is pretty old, and you can definitely feel it. The controls are a little stiff and clunky compared to newer games, so it might take some time to get used to. Just keep that in mind going in. Once you get the hang of it, though, it's actually pretty fun. Cutting through enemies with Rayne's blades feels really satisfying, and the story is a fun, over-the-top mix of vampire hunting, evil Nazis, and demonic...
