Some people report problems with the game not being able to start due to a failure of the SteamAPI initialization. We have rebuilt the exe with the newest SDK just in case.

Inspired experience. You're given a found thumb drive of 10-15 pictures and a diary, which you must use to piece together an event. It's open in a way that I think many would dislike, but I enjoyed what it was going for. There are also 3 zipped files you can open using some puzzle solving skills, though it's really an option Easter egg and I just looked them up for the achievements. Whoops

this game mounts a simulated USB stick to your system and therefore always tries to start with elevated (admin) rights. From an IT-Security perspective I find this rather concerning and would not advise to play without using a sandboxed virtual machine.

Does it make sense to choose a story with an open ending for a game? Obviously it is realistic that a lot of cold cases remain an open mystery up until this day and cant be solved. But is it a good idea to take a story like that and put it in a game? Embed nice Forensic EXIF data in it and invent a cool concept about it? I had this game wishlisted for a couple months before it came out. I like detective games and the concept looked really appealing. Unfortunately, though, the actual experience comes up short. I'll save you the time. There's actually nothing in the password-protected zip files the whole game is based around. Also the program asks for admin privileges and comes with torrents which I wouldn't recommend touching for security sake. Interesting concept but needed more complexity to feel worthwhile, as well as some sort of purpose around getting the passwords (even if it isn't a solution to the mystery).

The 'game' starts with a cutscene, a man describing events and an area that a USB drive has been found; once over it proceeds to 'open' the USB on your computer. Requires admin privileges to install a virtual hard drive onto your system. What the ♥♥♥♥? The drive has a working torrent for a movie. What the ♥♥♥♥? The drive has a ton of random .EXE installers that I assume are relevant to the puzzle. What the ♥♥♥♥? The concept is cool, i like THE IDEA but as many of these reviews say you have to 1. Give it admin permissions which is a security risk and 2. You have to install external software, plus it came with torrents for movies? I feel like these problems could've been fixed with a fake os in the game to simulate file explorer while not actually being your computer.
