Interesting art game, but brainy puzzler it is not. The beginning of the game feels very tedious and ends up being a walking simulator with no substance. Maybe it gets better, but the intrigue isn't there to continue.

Viewfinder is a weird one. The game is pretty short, but I still found myself getting bored with it fairly quickly. The puzzle mechanics change with each chapter, but the difficulty basically stays the same for the whole game. So don't expect it to get much harder as you go. Visually, it's also kind of strange. It looks clean, but at the same time it can feel messy. Still, it's definitely a well-polished game....

It's a fun little puzzle game with a nice aesthetic. I would advice to turn off the voice audio, because the voiceacting is quite annoying and the story isn't that good.

Viewfinder was an amazingly crafted puzzle game where photographs and drawings were your puzzle pieces to carve a path with. This creative concept is blended with certain gimmicks or difficulties within levels to keep things interesting, so while it might be tiresome at some points, it is never boring and I was able to pick up the pace after small breaks. Game was very fun! The puzzles were not as hard, but that doesn't matter as much, as just figuring out solutions was so much fun. Playing around with the given puzzle pieces can be so silly. There are also a lot of hidden fun things, from random photos to enter to collectables that I just didn't care about too much. I merely did all levels and the optional challenges. Sometimes optional fun stuff is hidden in places...

Short game, good puzzles, didn't find it very challenging (except one in particular that I hate with a passion), but was still a good time. Many easter eggs and cool stuff to find. Viewfinder is a great cozy puzzlegame with some amazing visual trickery. They game is fairly easy and does not get more difficult as you progress. Every chapter new mechanics are introduced keeping it from becoming repetitive. The game is quite short. Around 4 hours with all optional levels. I would recommend to buying it when on sale.
