For being this short is not a bad Game i iven tride multiple times to try and kill the boss i recomend playing it if you wanna try it out

For a vertical slice of a third-person wave based and anime-styled shooter TheDawn is not bad. As far as games made by student go its actually a decent game project. The 3D model of the heroine Maya is tastefully made and look distinct with her cel sahding over the hand-painted environments, especially when viewd from a distance. game was just fine, using controller basically barely works, and 1 of the controls dont even work with it, also the final boss, i quit playing, i would be nowhere near the attack, or i would perfectly dodge, i still get dmg taken also the last 3 areas, there was so much of the screen was basically news for an epilipsy attack, lights flashing making it so you cant see and wind up getting screwed and dying

A short game that plays like a tech demo or a school project than a full game. The fundamentals are done well, gunplay, abilities, and pathing for the story. The story is a bit on the awkward side but the last boss is hard but fair. the game runs surprisingly badly on lower end machines, but once the requirement is met it runs well. Hope to see more from the developer!

TL;DR - The game is free, takes an hour to beat, and is fun. If you're bored, this is great to try. This third person anime shooter starts off simple but becomes pretty challenging later on, with a boss at the end that took me several tries. You can dodge bullets, stop time (either to get behind a shield user, or to stop bullets), and recall time to regain health. And there's a cool ultimate ability. The gameplay...
