Hey kiddo, Handsome Jack here... and I just played Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2, and apparently somebody looked at the first game and thought, “This is good, but we could put even MORE terrorists in Las Vegas.” Excellent. The pc port of this game is nearly unplayable without mods. I also for the life of me CANNOT get the controller support to work, no matter how many fixes I try. The FOV is attrocious, and walking up stairs causes a weird speed boost. I cannot recommend this port, if you have the chance to play this on original console hardware please do.

The mechanics of this game are amazing the graphics are surprisingly good for its time i love the cover mechanics when you take cover you can blind fire the gameplay is perfect for its time my only one critique is the movement is blocky. wish they would remaster this and make the movement better and put the server back up

I'm frustrated with the devs I never bought that crap game of theirs ( siege) . Vegas is easily 1,000 times better—I had over 15,000 hours in Vegas 2 back in the day. A remaster with improvements and additions is a guaranteed win!.

Maybe I just have rose tinted glasses but I remember this game being better as a kid. The glitchy sound is probably a result of it trying to run on a modern system but the busted ai that always know exactly where you are, even if they never actually see you or even if you enter a new area is an issue. That combined with the cheap enemy spawns that can kill you simply because you never get a chance to get back into...

i tried to play with a controller but it didn't work, and i couldn't play well with mouse and keyboard, this game seems fun, but too bad the contoller doesn't work on this game

I didnt enjoy this one as much as the first, the setting of the gun battles I didnt find as fun, the story again from the first is really a non-player, and the gun battles seem to be moving in a Call of Duty direction with more and more guys thrown at you compared to the first one. Still a great shooter, better than anything out today.

They don't make games like these anymore, the essence of late 2000s - early 2010s shooters still has a place in my heart. Better than Siege, and always will be. The actual last good Rainbow Six game I ever know for real.
