Interesting game with a multitude of paths and outcomes in which the twist is that you are the one who needs to try to get away with murder. Multiple (short) playthroughs, using your knowledge of the previous ones, are required to play around with all the possible variables and outcomes. Short but sweet.

Just too short to find out much, too RNG to decide without finding out much. What's there is nice, it just doesn't work as either IF or detective.

After a very interesting experience with TR-49, which came out earlier this year, I was intrigued to continue exploring Inkle's games, which had largely escaped my attention before. I ended up choosing Overboard! - a small, charming game where your goal is to help the protagonist avoid punishment for murdering her husband aboard a cruise ship... in the most advantageous way possible. a nice albeit short game, personally i find it gets quite boring quite quickly as there is very little info you can then apply to later runs other than schedule times but it still makes for a interesting play for a few hours, i would reccomend aiming for two of the endings (they're near fully exclusive so don't try to do both at once) being the true ending where you get the full payout and the ending where you murder...

I like the presentation and writing, it was definitely fun to figure out as much as I could. For me however the game ran its course pretty quickly after a few endings and I don't feel the desire to 100% it at least not anytime soon

i find the gameplay loop fairly interesting and enjoyable for the most part, though there are sometimes issues with people acting in ways that seem like errors. for example, characters accusing me of lying about something that i literally just told the truth about, or jumping to insane conclusions. sometimes it can feel a bit like you need to pick all the magical perfect options, and any deviation (even if it's...
