Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee

Monster munch! A bit different than rest of the series. This time solve puzzles in 3D environment with help of Munch. Levels involve platforming but not as much. Great game despite it's age! Needs remake.

Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee has good graphics for it's age. It's Abe and all of his farting goodness! The biggest problem with this game is the horrible controls. They are nauseating and headache inducing. I just can't play anymore.

One of the best games from my childhood <3 Camera movements aside, I think it's still a good game even after all this years.

I wouldn't be writing this review if I didn't find out about this game by installing microsoft plus for win xp and checking out the goofy ahh visualizer that came with it. Like, I never expected Munch to be there, lol. Seeing that little guy made me buy the original xbox and the game itself which I've beaten dozens of times on it. I've played all other oddworld games too and some were quite better tbh, but this one...

I have sympathy for this underdog of the classic range. The first ever Oddworld game in 3D. Now, i'm not nostalgia-blinded. I know the environments are recycled. I know the story has problems. I know it's more for kids and things aren't as gritty, but it's still classic Oddworld. Abe seemns older and more battle-hardened. Much is competent, even if the sounds they gave him aren't perfect.
