Fruit Ninja VR 2

This game has potential, don't recommend it currently unless it's on sale. I really hope they see that potential through, but as it stands the last update was December 16th of last year. Edit May 5th 2022: The game has started to be updated again, with a promising roadmap. Still wouldn't recommend at this price point but come Winter Sale time this year it'll probably be worth picking up.

YES PLEASE lock off your settings for volume for the way too bloody loud game until I'm two thirds into your tutorial! Awful!

At this point in the "early access" in impressed with the archery gameplay but the lack of content at this point doesn't quite justify the current price tag. I've spent about 8 hours on the game trying to get some of the achievements and there's a couple maps where I'm ranked in the top 10/15 and still can't get an A for the round even though I max out both time and accuracy. Overall it's a cool single player...

All I wanted is to cut some fruit and the game bothers me with collectible weapons, teleporting and getting motion sick, stupid tutorials that are obnoxious and hunting vases that apparently aren't meant to be found by me. This felt like work, not entertainment. No actually, work doesn't make me motion sick and pays the bills... HARD REFUND

Having played both 1 and 2, I'd honestly just stick with the first one. The archery and crossbow modes are fine and I do like the beatsaber-eqsue minigame, but there are no endless modes, meaning the game never gets to a point you can comfortably settle into. The thing I loved most about the first game was the survival mode, and that's been almost completely removed from this game. Not worth the money.

Found this title before early access was available; and since it's times during playtesting it's honestly made me smile like a little kid again. Keep in mind - Halfbrick intends on mostly doing a open-world / level-based approach here. Classic modes like arcade & zen are not present here, but they are in the first Fruit ninja VR title.
