story needs some connecting, some parts dont make sense jumps around a bit, need to connect the dots to make sense, later half of the game feels a bit rushed, overall i like the atmosphere of the game so recommend.

Savior of the Abyss feels like someones first attempt at making a horror game. Good and potentially interesting ideas are clearly recognizable but the execution is more than just a little lacking. For one the fact that outside of a few select scenes the game is completely devoid of music or even ambient sound really hinders it in being an immersive experience. A good and short Lovecraft-inspired horror game that reminds of older RPG Maker horror games, while it's not perfect, it shows the developers have the potential if they would create similar games of this style in the future that seem to be lacking attention in recent years.

Tried it for about an hour until I got to this puzzle where you need to count some stuff before a bloody F. No matter how many times I entered the code counting up all the stuff on a bloody memo, still couldn't get unlock the door. Short game but i liked it, there was a few frustrating parts that i was not a fan of though. Translation can get a bit off in parts and hard to understand.

Cute little horror game, would get on sale to kill two hours again. Endings were nice, gameplay was stronger at the start than the middle/end. Some sort of sequel or remaster would be nice bc the ideas are here but the presentation/execution is a little shoddy.
