V Rising

Surprisingly fun. I really enjoyed this game. You can't brute force your way through them with just dodging and attacking; you have to come up with strategies to beat some of them. Overall, a great game to play solo or with friends.

I've played this game on and off since before release and I have to say, it just keeps drawing me back in. Combat is challenging and fun. Building is simple but fulfilling. Rng of gotta catch them all is satisfied. Multitude of server settings to let you play your way. Overall extremely enjoyed. (also bought all the dlc which is cosmetic but adds a lot of design freedom.)

I started this expecting a basic vampire survival game. In truth, it is a vampire real estate simulator with over 60 unique bosses. You spend your time dodging the sun, hunting specific blood types, and farming materials to expand your base. The castle design system is excellent. It gives you full control to build a massive gothic mansion. The different vampire abilities you unlock from bosses will feel lore...

It is one of the few games that forced me to lower the difficulty level. I love a challenge and games that keep me glued to the screen by demanding a high level of commitment. However, I have to admit that *V Rising* got the better of even my tenacity—and I consider this a major plus for the title, as it will certainly prove challenging even for the most skilled players. It's an incredible in-depth game that can become first person or 3rd world view. I wish the first person mode would stay on when in combat. The woods and environments are incredible. The bosses mechanics are difficult but fun. Especially the foreman.

If you play on regular difficulty, the game is increadibly easy, but if you want to play on brutal beware that every boss sucks. No win feels deserved and is completely random, because developers vision of difficulty is visual clutter, minion spam and covering the whole boss arena in random fart stains or clouds that deal like 10% of your hp for every tick. Another gripe is that there is no builds or dessisionmaking...
