Part detective game with bug puns and part third person shooter. Overall a fun game, I liked the characters and story. It would be nice if we could get part 2 but it seems it won't happen, on steam anyway...

Extremely rough third-person shooter/adventure game hybrid. The shooting is worse than the puzzles... Most of the time. It's only half of the original DS game and the second half is never gonna come out (you have to watch cutscenes on YouTube to finish the story). Goofy bug puns and a concerningly attractive protagonist isn't enough to save this game.

Background: Picked up during the summer sale for pennies. Apparently it's an upgrade of a 2008 DS game with improved visuals and audio, part 2 was never released but you can complete the story on youtube via officially released cinematics. I have no idea why this game gets such bad reviews. I had a lot of fun with it, never expereinced any bugs, played it to the end, and was really impressed overall. Is it a AAA-quality title? Being a platform-shooter/point-n-click detective game it is interesting to say the least.
