Scumbag publisher (Or whomever has this and the first game on steam) jacking up the price for the steam sale and leaving the price rised. Something that is ILLEGAL and is called Deceptive Pricing! An amazing game from the PS2 era, with some replayability and a real challenge for hardcore games in the extreme difficulty (must do certain things to unlock it, no spoilers other than it exists) However, I believe the pricing went wrong, it used to be about 15 usd or so in full price and 7-8 bucks on discount, unsure why would they do this (because the port works but is not amazing, no graphics options,...

I love the game but I wouldn't get it at the $40 price. The only reason I did was because this game taught me how to read when i was growing up so I'm a bit partial. This was released on steam along with the second dark alliance game during covid. great for nostalgia but it doesn't really compare well to modern games.

Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance can feel very dated at times. Long dungeons with lots of enemies that leads to no real reward. Very long runbacks after using Recall. Economy that makes zero sense. The final ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boss being immune to my chain lightning. Tons of stuff that can be frustrating. But, it is still a great co-op game that you can play with someone and have a lot of fun with. The game is good, I mostly played it for the nostalgia when I was a kid playing the Game cube. I would wait till it goes on sale because of the price. If I can give a tip when playing it, save that gold as you play and buy weapons and armor that are high stats if you can for each Act or Stage. Like in the first Act I bought the scale knight armor at the Tavern and rocked the Morning Star with shield as the Dwarf....
