2D Receiver. If you've actually played that other game, "Receiver", then you'll notice that the similarities are very apparent with the complicated gun controls; even the way you mash the key to sprint is the exact same. It's not a bad thing in and of itself, but there are a lot of other things in this small game that brings itself down. You can't remap the keys like you could in Receiver, so you have to get used to...

Honestly, Pretty decent now, despite the short playtime (that is, if you play similar to me, Blazing around with some 'chilling time' to be able to aim again), the game itself is pretty fun, if you are used to receiver 2, the controls are pretty similar minus the holstering, pressing z to fill more ammo in, which in case you're used to said controls, can make the game a breeze. Overall, had I need to Rate this from...

honestly, a thrilling 2d game with a 3d surround. It is fun because of the challenge it provides in getting to know the controls, very tactical and includes things like speed reloads. Honestly have not seen something like this in other games. would love for a full game to drop with the completed storyline, the characters are interesting and provide me with enough mystery to want to know the backstory. 10/10 would...

Truly one of the most unique games. This game made me question the reload system of non-VR shooter. I would love to see more games attempt to replicate the complexity of reloading your weapons. Just imagine gamers fambling around their keyboard to reload M4 in a stressful situation. That would be hella experience to go through. (there are malfunction too. Cool) I am looking forward to the developer next game.

Reloader: test_subject, developed by Nevertheless Studio and published by PsychoFlux Entertainment, is a tightly focused indie action title that builds its entire identity around one deceptively simple idea: reloading a gun should matter. Rather than treating firearms as abstract tools with an instant reload animation and a conveniently refilled magazine, the game transforms the act of reloading into a core mechanic...

The game is short tho like 40 minutes? I thought it has potential but dev still didn't make anything in Reloader series exept this prologue. Game is pretty much fun but endless "surrounded" state ruins everything, you just rush level with no ammo managment bc faster = better or be surrounded again.

Game is super fun and a nice coordination challenge. Only thing i recommend (sorry dev) is that the music kinda sucks for the theme of the game. Literally just mute background music in the setting and pull up a John Wick fight playlist and you're golden.

This game is certainly unique! I love the idea of it, but I do have a few grievances although minor, RNG plagues this game in the sense that some enemies can take upwards of 6+ bullets to kill even with 100% focus (so no loss of accuracy) there is no telling when an enemy is going to yell "I'M UNSTOPPABLE" and refuse to die maybe a slight sprite change will help like the addition of body armour on some enemies....

So to start off first this is an interesting take on a side scroller shoot em up that has interesting build up to a story that I would love to get to play. Couple of things I would suggest: 1. Instead of using a solid bar to indicate how many bullets are in the mag why not cut them into squares so someone would know exactly how many bullets are left. Make it a little easier for the user to manage bullets instead of...
