This is a fascinating exploration of what it means to be Turing Complete. The entire "esolang" boils down to: "Perform the first valid string replacement in a list of string replacements. Repeat until nothing in the list resolves" One loop. No ifs. And you can do a surprising amount with it. For CS nerds, the game even includes a proof of the language's turing-completeness. The game is exactly as barebones...

Probably one of the most interesting programming games I have ever played. Each assignment replaces the first occurrence of the term on the left with the term on the right; this allows you to create (starting from just a single command!) extremely sophisticated decision-making logic, jumps, etc. It is a much more expressive language than it might seem at first. I appreciated the ""story"", the notes on Turing...

As mentioned by quite a few reviewers, for quite a number of puzzles, the descriptions are poor, so the objectives and constraints are ambiguous. They seriously hampered the enjoyment of an otherwise a clever game.

Honestly, it's such an incredible game. It was a bit difficult for me to understand what i was supposed to do at first but don't give up too quickly, its worth it. 10/10.
