A spectacular experience. When people say that the game is a classic and a masterpiece in horror, they are not joking. But what personally got me was the actively hostile atmosphere in it. I remember getting this beauty in a bundle pack for my rocking gaming chair around 2009. Still till this day one of the scariest games I have ever experienced. I loved playing it so much on my xbox 360 but it's a shame I never got around to finishing it. Planning to do so when I play the remaster on PC sometime soon. Regardless I will still give this a positive due to the lasting impact it did on me as a kid.

Great horror game, my first time playing it in 2026 and it holds up pretty well. A bit rough around the edges but the combat is really fun and so are the scares. Make sure to get patches from PC Gaming Wiki or alternative because the port is a bit janky.

Better than ever. I remember playing this on release day in 2008 and thinking "How can games ever look better than this?" Well that might not have been true, but the game holds up very well. Bonus: lots of these of these older games metro, bioshock, mass effect, all make my mid-ish laptop run hot, Dead Space 2008 does not have this issue at all.

DEEP SPACE HORROR DONE RIGHT! I'm sure SHODAN would be proud. I usually do not like third person games, but the controls and camera for this game are perfect IMO. 200/10!!!

Great game, I personally love it more than the remake. I think the monster design is scarier and the story is told better in this version. If you have problems, there are some simple fixes you can find online, usually just download, drag+drop a file or two.
