Due to some bad numbering, the Barracks actually cost 50 Gold instead of 60. That's fixed now. Also, the rotational symmetry was broken, which made about half the maps unplayable! Also (x2), the Tutorials broke at some point along the way, so that's fixed too.

Base Wars is a unique strategy concept, it feels mechanically similar to RTS games like Age of Empires and Starcraft but packaged in a turn based format. I'd describe it as chess without a grid. This game has good things and bad things. The GOOD things: - This is the perfect game for people who would love to play Warcraft 3 or Starcraft but have a mechanic disadvantage. - The ability to hit/heal multiple units at once adds a lot of depth to the game. - With a bigger player base this would be really interesting. I decided to play this game after the creator gifted out steam keys. Barely been running it for 15 minutes and I'm already hooked and looking forward to all the updates. Best of luck to you, Creator, and your great game!

This has a great foundation for a game, I really enjoyed it. Things like text colour and music could be improved but really great effort!

The game was fun back when it was being developed, but the discord has been dead for 3+ years now. The game still needs polish, and I don't think it will ever get that.

the creator shared a key with me on reddit, i played it for about a hour today and its a surprisingly fun game. deffinitley recommend it. i look forward to seeing the player base grow & see what future updates hold. keep up the good work buddy!
