-Fixed a bug where Bell's NPC and PC field sprites weren't the same. -Fixed a bug where a PC could be shown in both the main and reserve lists in the after-battle screen. The version of the OHR this is using also updated; this shouldn't change anything, but you never know.

This is a great game. There is a lot of contents and the game can be quite long (prob about 2x-3x length of the typical final fantasy game). Dungeons are also very well made, they feature optional bosses, optional areas filled with lore, high end items, and stuff they you need to come back later for access. Came for the story and the gameplay. Stayed for the extensive Job (and subsequent character creation system). I enjoyed that the story began with your party as a group of archaeologists investigating ruins, only to be ambushed and having to fight monsters on their way out, then people in subsequent towns question your story when you're walking around fully equipped in armor and weapons lol

Wow, I can't believe that I had to stumble upon this game - this is exactly what I'm looking for, with the awesome nostalgia spikes from the font and character models, to the incredible diversity of classes/jobs, to the story that's serving a little bit of Final Fantasy Adventure series. Definitely worth the (not very expensive) cost!!!!

Wow. I like to think I keep my finger on the pulse when it comes to gaming but I somehow missed this one at release - definition of a hidden gem. Highly recommend.

An absolutely fantastic turn-based RPG which plays like a mixture of Dragon Quest and Etrian Odyssey. False Skies relies purely on the design of its enemies, encounters, weapons, and player classes to make battles interesting, and succeeds wonderfully at doing so. The class system is my personal favorite iteration of such in any game I've played, allowing a huge amount of flexibility without offering so much freedom...

A damn good JRPG game made by someone who clearly understands the appeal of these types of games by the people who played them growing up. My only regret is I only discovered this during the current summer sale on a random post mentioning it and didn't pay full price for it, because this kind of thing is clearly made for me. It is quite rare for me to give up on a game before finishing. Regrettably, False Skies drags on too long and has some very rough difficulty spikes at different points in the game. It is only possible to attempt to escape a battle after every enemy has attacked you that round. Some enemies hit for 50% of my HP per attack. Enemies grow stronger faster than I do. Wonderful classic experience! So many RPG Maker projects and other misc stuff in this vein that totally misses the mark compared to this. Immaculate aesthetic, cute script, and satisfying combat/exploration. Everything you want in a NES-era RPG.
