Fixed almost all technical issues desperados 2 had. Other than that i enjoyed the levels a bit more and the story was a bit better i guess but really the technical issues was the only major upgrade i needed. The game was shorter like around half the length of 2 but just from the fact that the game actually works properly i put it around the same or a better than 2 even. Helldorado is a standalone expansion to the second game in the Desperados series (Desperados 2: Cooper's Revenge), so you can think about it as Desperados 2.5 if you like. A very nice, highly tactical game with an unusual difficulty curve (not really a curve), some patches are exceptionally hard and require pin point timing and planning where as some scenarios you can simply run in and punch. It feels almost criminal to have to not recommend a game in the Desperados series, but this game suffers from far too many flaws: -The difficulty curve is non-existent, and quite often no strategy can help you, which means many levels consist of you using trial and error (and more often than not, failing). Helldorado is the third game of the Desperados-series. First in the series we have "Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive" which basically was "Commandos" in a western atmosphere. Then came "Desperados 2: Coopers Revenge". And finally "Helldorado".. And you know what? IT SUCKS BIG TIME! I Kidd, I Kidd! :-) Via google I had a hard time making out if "Helldorado" just was another name for "Desperados 2: Coopers Revenge"...

If you have played Desperados Wanted Dead or Alive and the disappointment that was Desperados 2, Helldorado wraps things up pretty nicely! The good: 1. Love this game! If you liked the first one in the series (Desperados) you will like this one too. It's not an easy game, sure, but it's rewarding, especially when you're not just shooting, but trying to outsmart the enemies. I recommend it to every strategy fan who have patience.

Even though the title is different but this game is actually a sequel for Desperados 2: Cooper's Revenge. The game took place right after Desperados 2's ending where Doc McCoy was poisoned and fall unconscious. Helldorado still use the same assets and mechanics from previous Desperados 2, with lot of improvement and new features. + Combo system, it's a nice feature. + Film mode for quick action.
