Really more of a neutral recommendation. It's an early Kairosoft game, so it's on the simple side. You build your town, and adventurers visit, move in, and autonomously go fight monsters. You also trigger quests & events for them, though events are just a cute image and stat gain. Dungeon Village is an absolute classic gem I played in the early 2000's on my Ipad, and it has been a delight to revisit it on Steam. The mouse controllers are stiff and slightly weird to get used to, but the gameplay was and still is to this day great.
