If you like the older dynasty warriors and samurai warriors games, this game is crazy good. It has a huge cast and the versions of the characters are very strong. samurai warriors 4 hyper attacks aren't in it. Runs great on steam deck besides some videos not playing, and all videos playing at half speed? its very strange. Supposedly you can re-encode the videos to fix it but I haven't. Its also crazy long. I'd argue it's good even if you're new. Sure, this is kind of like a big party for Warriors characters, but other than the Dynasty Warriors cast, there's also a bunch of other people I didn't even know. Oh, and Joan of Arc! I know that one! She's crap though, like not quite Diao Chan levels of crap, just crap. I've played this many years ago when it released, but briefly, I forgot that there's no English voice...

Just as good as the original, only better. I love how many characters there are, all DLC included, and the fact that there's added characters in this version, including some of the things that were only in the japanese version.

Had a slow and bumpy start but as you unlock more story and stuff there's a lot more choices to enjoy the game overall, honestly a good game to spend time on free time especially if you are a long time Samurai/Dynasty fan.

Good game but some minor fix could make this game perfect for a steam deck experience but for now ill leave it as not recommend just to give some people some heads up. i spent $40 nzd to manually having to change screen settings. Also experience cutscenes and audio out of sync and there was nothing i tried within an hour that fixed it. i gave up and decided to give the game a chance. Straight away using ma chao musou...
