Game is actually not that bad to be fair. It's definitely one of the weaker silent hill games out there, just not as horrible as some people make it out to be. The negative review is not for the game, just the broken pc port. It's genuinely unplayable so don't waste your money.

I know this game gets alot of hate, but i'm so glad i gave this a second chance! the first time i played (about a year ago) it kept crashing at the very beginning. however, this second go around, its working great! almost perfectly. i don't know what i did differently (maybe because i updated my driver?) but i didnt need any mods to make it work. as someone who is a die hard silent hill fan, i am so so so glad this...

A única coisa que eu gosto nesse jogo são algumas referências q tem de Jacob’s Ladder, fora a trilha sonora do Akira Yamaoka que é sempre mt boa Pra não falar que tudo nesse jogo é ruim, ALGUNS monstros tem uns visuais legais até, e talvez a história seja minimamente interessante se você for com expectativa negativa Fazer esse jogo rodar na versão da Steam é um parto, não vale a pena. This game is basically a crashing simulator, I crashed at least once per hour. But if u can put up with that, the game isn't too bad. The story and game play are what u would expect from an old Silent Hill game. It mostly sucks cus the buggs and crashing. Ngl I wouldn't recommend paying full price for this tho. def wait until it's like 80% off on sale.

game is unplayable. endless black screen has been going on for years, and the game has yet to be patched. how is this even allowed to be on the market place??

This was my first Silent Hill game back when I was a kid so I have a bit of a soft spot for it despite it's many, many faults. That said, It's so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nice that this isn't the only SH game available on Steam anymore.

homecoming is one of my least favorite silent hill games but the reason i decided to play it is because i used to watched my sister play it many years ago :3 (i was maybe 9 years old AHGWHAWH) but my favorite stuff about the game is the music, and wheeler he is very funny, and how sassy curtis is. but other than that the game is unfortunately painful to play :<

I'm a huge Silent Hill fan and wanted to play thru them all, but damn.. this might just be the worst game ever. Unappealing environments, horrible storyline, and THE MOST ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ controls imaginable. Dodge mechanic doesn't work half the time and actually sends you towards enemies, making combat truly relentless. Not to mention all the bugs, visual glitches, and crashes.
