Edit: While no official statements have been made, NQ appears to no longer actively be supporting DU. Physical rewards for Kickstarter founders are still undelivered. 1.4.X is likely the last major update to DU. Highly in depth space corporation builder. Game is fun and has a few problems and could be better. Worth about 40$ and no more. Its subscription based at about 15$ a month making the game just not worth it! The subscription for this will kill the game and the community before it ever will take off!

I originally backed the game in 2016 during the Kick-starter campaign. I recently heard the game released and went back to play it again and see what had changed only to get permanently banned for exploiting 5 days in. I played the game in beta. It was enjoyable then but I knew not to get tied to the stuff I created. That is the reason of a lot of the bad reviews here IMHO. READ BEFORE YOU BUY: If you stop paying your subscription for 3 months, EVERYTHING you own (outside of the starter zone) disappears. All your ships, your factories space stations and everything else. I used to love this game back when it was fun and there were things to do other than sit in your ship and fly around because there's no mining in the game. The game itself needs a monthly subscription and it's not stated next to the buy button as it should. EDIT: This review was made before they added the "1 month" to the buy option. Still have no idea how buying following months would work as you are buying a game with that option, not game content (like the month of premium from ESO for example).

With the way this game is going, it seems the developers have grand designs to turn this game into the sort of game that goes after the same sort of headlines that EVE made.
