Honestly, this is easily one of the best games I’ve ever played. I’ve beaten it multiple times at this point, and it just never gets old. The freeflow combat is ridiculously addicting, grappling through the city feels smooth as hell, and the dynamic between Batman and Joker in this story is unmatched. The map size is just right too—not stupidly massive for the sake of it, but packed with actual quality content....

Batman: Arkham City - Game of the Year Edition is an excellent, atmospheric game set in the Batman universe. I started playing this game after completing Arkham Asylum, in my quest to play the Batman games in release order (to be followed by Batman: Arkham Origins, and concluded in Batman: Arkham Knight). The game drops you right into the action with Catwoman, a new controllable character, as she pulls off a heist....

The game has a much larger map/setting than Arkham Asylum, you also get to play as Cat woman, and you get more gadgets. Overall it's a significant improvement over AA.

Amazing story, fluid combat, tons of content, and a world that’s fun to explore from start to finish. It still holds up incredibly well. having played the previous the this is a step up.

I honestly prefer arkham asylum but this is pretty good. After the main story is over you can just do all the side stuff and kinda roleplay as batman going around arkham beating up dudes. 7/10

The Good: Peak superhero atmosphere, unmatched fluid combat, legendary voice acting by Conroy and Hamill, and the Mr. Freeze fight is a masterclass in game design.
