I don't know why I've been asked to write a review for this, considering this game has been off the store page for the last 3 years (♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Sonic Origins). Pretty fun on the surface, amazing gameplay for a casual playthrough, nightmare fuel for a completionism run. The game is about 40 to 50 minutes long if your playing to just beat Eggman at the end which is pretty cool, admitted this game has like no challenge...

This game is weird to me because when I was a kid I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hated this game, and now I like it lol. Maybe it was because I played the mobile version with ♥♥♥♥♥♥ touchscreen controls, or maybe I wasn't good at the special stages. I always did like the Vaporwave aesthetic the levels had, and the soundtrack is amazing. It's a good 2d sonic game, definitely better than sonic 1 but not as good as Sonic 2, Sonic 3&K or...

It's a good game, plain as that. At the time of writing this was approximately my 36th playthrough and it was still very enjoyable to jaunt though. (Other playthroughs were on different devices, though.) I always enjoy returning to this one.

It's Sonic CD, it's good Got delisted because of Origins, who apparently can delete all your progress randomly, so yeah, that's very cool

The atmosphere, gameplay and especially the Japanese soundtrack in this game elevate it to being my favorite entry in the Classic Sonic games, I feel happy when I play this game and I can't help but love most of it. the actual best 2d sonic game. great soundtrack, fun gimmicks (backtracking and exploration in a sonic game isn't as bad as i thought it'd be), and full of soul in every department it's a damn shame it's not available on steam anymore, since this version is probably the best version of sonic cd ever (i don't really care for the sonic origins version with the drop dash) thank you marimari_en
