Surprisingly good for its time. No real issues or crashes all playthrough, combat is ok. Story is real well told.

Great game, but the PC port feels hopelessly outdated. Despite having a great control layout on the original XBox that allowed using all the spells you wanted, the PC version is only made for keyboard and mouse. Would love to see PGG make the Fable equivalent to the Master Chief Collection once they're done with the new title (just working properly right from launch), these are some amazing games that deserve more...

A very British high fantasy story, complete with crude humor that holds up surprisingly well. There is very valid criticism of the (incredibly shallow) morality system being over represented in the marketing. That said, the gameplay remains fun and unique to this day so it's still a must-play. I prefer this version over the horribly ugly Anniversary remaster, but this version doesn't have native controller support....

game will randomly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ break and not let you sprint or block. then no matter what all your controls are ♥♥♥♥♥♥. thanks for making me waste 6 hours i guess. nvm im dumb. it was my mouse that was the issue. for some reason the right click and pressed shift and left click at the same time. plugged it back in and everything was fine....no wonder i couldnt find anyone else with the same issue

If ya cast spells to quickly during combat the engine kills itself..... Good job XD I was told this version of the game was MORE STABLE......

Lies, lies, lies. Fable is a mediocre early 2000s RPG that never fullfills its marketing of character development and freedom. My face changed a bit, that's it. The game world consists of tight corridors. I finished the main quest in 11 hours. On top of none of my decisions really making any difference, the endgame is clearly rushed.
