If you have played/like Back in Action, then this is basically just a expansion pack or DLC of that. The gameplay, graphics, audio, engine etc are identical. The addition is new mercenaries, new weapons and a different campaign map. The campaign is much smaller and shorter. Forewarning: this game has been abandoned by the developer, who is no longer in business. I bought it anyway because I thought it would be a decent expansion to Back in Action (BIA). After the failure of JA: Flashback, I came back to Crossfire to assure myself that not all JA after JA:2 were bad. And no, they were not. Crossfire (and it's predecessor) are good games.
