This game is definitely not ready to play yet. Within 5 seconds of going outside, I had to reload my save because I got stuck. The 3rd person POV cant zoom into 1st person, but when aiming you automatically zoom into a closer 3rd person POV. When you read something on a board it auto zooms in and is on a timer to zoom out, and you can't stop it. When in a cut scene you can waste your ammo. When on the boat, you can't...

If you're wanting to play this game, wait a good year or two for all the bugs to be worked out. Right now, this game is barely playable. I was gifted this as the premise seemed interesting and the gameplay promise of being similar to RE and Castlevania in an open world seemed interesting. I played for half an hour and we both agreed it was not worth the money especially being it isn't even Early Access anymore but: 1) Lighting. I'd hold off on this game until it gets some updates!It has potential to be great but it's way too early of a release!I'm hopeful that the devs will put more work into this title and not leave it dead in the water!I only give it a thumbs up in hopes that it will get some much needed polishing!

Voice acting is horrible, its like the person is trying too hard, charachters hands also glitch behind her back, and well started the game and went where i was suppossed to but can not figure out how to enter.. so idk so far it is not looking promising and debating refunding as this is probably just another game that will be pulled from Steam or abandoned by dev(s).

Been following this author for awhile, good stuff. Night Gate seems really cool so far, can't wait to see where this goes. Lots of enemies, the dracula theme works great (I think grendel is the big bad guy? like from beowolf?) Refunded : Never seen in any engine terrible aliasing, like she is desintegrating in chunks when moving. Not in hundreds of games played. Nothing fixes it (3D scaling, resolution, FPS, etc). RTX 3060 12gb Vram. I5 10600k 16 gb Ram

I bought this in early access as I like to watch the development of promising games. Then the updates stopped and no more early access, I was shocked. The devs obviously worked hard on this game, but it needs a lot of polish still. I did give some feed back early on, but was ignored.
