It's definitely for more experienced and/or motivated puzzlers, It is a masterpiece though.
A few comments. There are some puzzles early in the game in Larva and/or Whale only stages that are very challenging and have exceptional craftsmanship and creativity. But then in the late game the difficult generally drop to what should have been the early to mid game difficulties. So it is kind of odd to go through a big...

Increpare's sense for puzzle design really jives with me, but it's his aesthetic sensibilities that take his games somewhere really special. The presentation here is touchingly somber. It feels at once primordial and futuristic.

It's alright. I kind of wish it could stand on its own two feet compared to Sausage Roll. Being in full 3D (with no gravity, too!) made it much harder to picture the levels in my head and solve them logically.
The levels are also quite specific in what they want from you. Put another way, there aren't really a lot of ways to get them wrong, just many, many strategies which do nothing and one which totally solves...

TL;DR: 6.5/10
This can't hold a candle to Stephen's Sausage Roll, but then again, what can? Thankfully, it still delivers designer increpare's bread & butter: mind-bending core mechanics and inspired level design, respectively. The game gradually introduces a half-dozen new ideas onto a 3d Sakoban foundation, but the first is doing the, *giggle*, heavy lifting. That mechanic, called Larva, asks solvers to...

A wonderful, relaxing collection of puzzles. I'm really surprised this never took off given the popularity of the developer's next game, Stephen's Sausage Roll. The puzzling is a bit simpler here than in SSR, but it's no less satisfying. I've had it for over a decade and replayed it twice now.
The length and depth of the game far exceeds its asking price. If you're a puzzle fan, there's little reason not to check...

The short version: this is an insane game for insane people, and I loved nearly every moment of it.
The long version: this starts as, basically, Sokoban, but quickly reveals itself as much more than that: the spheres (or "larvae") you push "simulate gravity as camouflage" i.e. fall in the direction dependant on how they wre pushed. The difficulty past the first five or six levels skyrockets, and the game keeps...

In all honsety, I'm putting this game up there with the expert mode of super monkey ball. It's just insanse. It does share the tools that made smb great though, you can instantly restart a level with the press of the button, when you fail, and failing will come often here, you also get the turn back by one move feature, which is great for experimenting when your not sure , powering through with trial and error, or...

I am recommending this game, but it is important to note that this is not a universal recommendation.
This is a puzzle collection, and honestly a pretty good one - there's a wide variety of puzzle "types," but some of them are VERY difficult. Expect to be challenged, and do NOT expect to sit down and crank through a bunch of these in a single sitting. For folks who are not looking for difficult, abstract, mind-bendy...

While increpare games only has three products listed on Steam, the person behind the name, Stephen Lavelle is (in)famous for his creativity and his volume of output. According to Wikipedia, he has released more than 400 games, mostly freeware - and three commercial games; English country tune is the first of the three.
Apparently, Stephen has heard about the idea of gentle introduction to difficult puzzles, and the...
