Blow your spirits to the kingdom come... I mean into the warp zone! Sacrifice spirits turning them into some kind of support for the others like wind that pushes spirits in the air or a ramp to make them walk lower or higher. Do you like puzzle games where you have to do the same exact thing over and over again and hope that the physics engine moves your guys to the exact right spot this time? Spirits is a pretty simple game similar to Lemmings but where you only have a few moves and the main move is incredibly touchy. Placing the "wind" a pixel too soon or too late will result in you failing the level yet again. I like a puzzle game...

Spirits is very reminiscent of Lemmings. The little spirits can be inconsistent in their movement; sometimes one may land in a place that the others weren't able to, or they will walk through a blowing spirit - off a ledge - ruining the perfect score for that level. It's odd. I have to play in windowed mode as the game does not support my common multi-monitor setup; one corner of the game screen is blocking my mouse...

More frustrating than enjoyable. Stay away. At first it's a fairly enjoyable experience. It's nothing extraordinary, but it's alright. Could be a fun thing to do for a couple of hours, right? Yeah, no. As you get further and further the flaws start to show. Sometimes you pretty much need to transform a spirit on the exact right pixel, which would be fine, if the game was predictable. Which it very often just isn't....

Spirits is a short name for little ghosts that pollinate plants in a magic forest. The excitement of the game truly unfolds in its later stages. Initially, it was rather unremarkable, but as you progress, it becomes increasingly captivating. I connected to my dead grandma through this game. She is chillin up there and doesn't remember me who I am.

Spirits could have been a noteworthy Lemmings spiritual successor, but unfortunately the physics engine is wonky and unreliable. That adds some unpredictability to your plans, (e.g. the flow of air seems to affect your spirits differently at times, despite all of them having the same speed and momentum). Arm yourselves with a lot of patience , even more so if you're attempting perfect runs. It's not a bad game by any...
