Becomes really bugged on modern systems. In addition to the fact that the well-known .dll fix has to be applied for it work at a proper FPS at all (just like with the base game), this expansion will refuse to load some saves altogether unless you switch the video settings to medium or lower. Awesome classic shooter series with great graphics for their time and lots of jump scares. A fun and interesting story mode awaits in this one. Also the entire series often goes on sale dirt cheap!

The game is very poorly optimized and has tonnes of problems that leaves you so disappointed, I rare hate something but the amount of problems these games has just piss anyone with ease. Resolution problem, disconnected from server problem, Game freeze problem and many more. I get it it's old game but why allowed it in the store when it's nothing but a scam at this point.

Cool DLC for original F.E.A.R. It's the same good old gameplay with a lot gunfighting and horror stuff with interesting and well made level design. The Sound effects are top notch and an atmosphere is incredible. Highly recommended.

A mixed bag of enjoyable gameplay and technical issues. Let's start with the good first. The expansion feel like an upgrade from the main game. The story is more interesting and engaging, some of the unanswered questions of the base game get answered or at least explored. We finally get some resolution You get to play with two new guns which are quite fun. More of the same fun gameplay with even better shooting...
