Awesome classic shooter series with great graphics for their time and lots of jump scares. A fun and interesting story mode awaits in this one. Also the entire series often goes on sale dirt cheap!

"Perseus Mandate" es una buena adición. No es tan potente como "Extraction Point" en mi opinión, pero se mantiene bien ya que vuelve a aportar a la historia. So, before Outlasts was F.E.A.R. First Encounter Assault Recon a SWAT-type like unit , being deployed to investitage paranormal activities. To me story expansions (both) are better than vanilla FEAR game . Why ? What Perseus Mandate do better than fear 1 is giving you more new firearms that werent in vanilla and new invisible enemies that evolve combat to crazier level, ofc next to the main paranormal activitiy...

Приятно конечно что версия Steam дарит Perseus Mandate и Extraction Point абсолютно бесплатно, однако есть один маленький нюанс, а именно то что разработчики подошли к реализации данных дополнений как-то по-проходному. Must play 2nd expansion to F.E.A.R. Some areas appear unfinished and AI is slightly inferior to original F.E.A.R. but enjoyable add on none the less. The Bonus mission unlocks are a small way to keep the F.E.A.R. going. 10/10

This DLC is providing same experience as previous one and base game. Very good. Some parts are really challenging. I played on Linux using Proton. As expected, bugs that are present on Windows are also there while using Proton. Alt+Tab is working correctly. I played with default Proton, no changes or tweaks was necessary.

Better than reviewers led me to believe, but I could understand others giving this a pass. I'm new to the F.E.A.R. series and in the process of playing straight through I'm glad that I stopped along the way to play this. The final act to the first F.E.A.R game, Perseus Mandate, can be summed up in three words: Competent but unnecessary. The story campaign is kind of a crapshoot and compared to the previous DLC; Extraction Point, seems to go back to the more claustrophobic maps of the original game. this is the weakest FEAR entry after FEAR 3 in my opinion. the combat is still fun like in FEAR and Extraction Point, the horror elements are more sparse even tho it had its moments. the plot is a bit rushed, you play as an unnamed FEAR Sergeant with the same superhuman reflexes as the Pointman in the first game but its never properly explained why he has those abilities. you also face a new enemy faction, the...

Perseus Mandate is the peak original F.E.A.R. experience. It is better than the base game and the Extraction Point expansion. I beat all 3 on Extreme difficulty level. The 1st half of Perseus Mandate was kind of uninspired, just action scenes, but the 2nd half was fantastic.
