Puzzle platformer with a good amount of variety per puzzle room/level. It's an easy pick up for genre fans. Just a nice fun game that has some nice challenges and doesn't get too frustrating either, can't not help but like it just like it's nifty mini vampire protagonist.

This is not a horrible game, but it's still hard to recommend. Adventures of Shuggy is an unremarkable puzzle platformer with a story so generic it might as well not exist. The premise is simple: find all the gems in each level with the help of a given level's mechanic, while avoiding any source of danger. I'm going to give Shuggy a slight thumbs down. It's not that it's a bad game, just that it's an average game in a sea of much better games. Shuggy is a platformer with a couple of unique tricks. Unfortunately, it's marred by terrible controls that just feel off/ slippery. Cute and family-friendly game, that you can play together with your kids. The difficulty of the puzzle rooms varies from easy to challenging, without any frustrating puzzles. The story is told in the form of short and funny comic-strips.

I don't know how good or bad this game is. But each time you quit, you see an advertisement for the developer's other games. I could accept that if the game was free, but IMO this is unacceptable for a product for which the customer paid money, even if it is not much.
